Proud to be in the U.S.A

Author’s note: This essay is about all the reasons I am proud of the United States.

Are you proud of the United States?  I am for sure and you should be proud too.  The United States has much to offer.  Some of the thing’s the U.S.A offers is great education, tourist attractions and a great government.

One of the reasons I am proud of America is their ability to bounce back.  When the Twin Towers and the Pentagon were hit with planes they didn’t just sit back.  They made memorials and honored the people who were killed.  I think that is a great reason to be proud of the United States. 

Another reason I am proud of the United States is because of their education.  I am proud of their education because we are one of the smartest countries in the world.  I am also proud of all the donations to the places that have had disasters like Haiti and Japan.  With all the donations we made it must have helped those countries recover.

One more thing I am proud of is the American Inventions.  Some inventions are Coca-Cola, Bubblegum, Dental Floss, Cotton Candy, Ferris wheel, E-Mail, Planes, Napalm and many more interesting things.  I am proud of the inventors in America like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, Richard Adams and the Wright Brothers.

Also, I am proud of all the troops that have risked their lives to build the country’s defense and helping out other countries.  I am especially proud of the troops that were shipped overseas to help out countries like Iraq and Afghanistan.  The U.S.A played a big part in rebuilding Iraq.  I don’t know what it’s like to have someone overseas but I know people that have and I have seen T.V shows so I know it must be terrible to worry about someone every day until they come back.  I am glad that nobody in my family are in the army but in the same time I have an overwhelming respect for those who serve our county.  All in all this is a great country and there is a bounty of reasons to be proud of it.
