The Hunter

Authors Note: This is a good story for people who like hunting or just relaxing outdoors
Hunting has a lot of different meanings to a lot of different people.  To me, hunting is sitting outside in my hunting jacket and my 30-30 waiting for the prey to come by for an open shot.  This year nothing came and I wondered when I would shoot my first deer.  I know a handful of people that shot a deer there first year but not me.  
   There is a lot of controversy over what your first deer should look like.  Some just want to get it over with and shoot a small fork or a doe but some wait 10 years just for the perfect buck.  Every hunter’s dream is that on a warm sunny day a nice 10 point buck wanders into your crosshairs and then you line up the sights, shoot the deer and if it’s a good shot track it down later on. Hunting is not for everyone but if it’s for you then it’s fun and enjoyable.
